History

Schkorpil street was first paved in 1890, after the demolition of the Turkish army barracks. It was given its first name – Maria Luisa, in 1893. After the death of Herrmann Schkorpil, it was renamed after him with an edict of the Vaa Municipality, dated July 17, 1923.

A typical Vaa street that retains its former charm and atmosphere, it transports the pedestrians to the calm of the old city. On the coer with Antim I street, a beautiful two-story domed building fixes the eye.
